Dr. Mary Lee Rivera-Casamento is a private physician specializing in Obstetrics & Gynecology. She is affiliated with Lenox Hill Hospital and New York University Hospital. She is Board Certified and has been selected as a Castle Connolly’s America’s Top OB/GYN Physician every year since 2004.
Dr. Rivera-Casamento is a native New Yorker. She is a graduate of Swarthmore College and New York University Medical School, where she was inducted into The National Medical Honor Society (AOA). She completed her internship and residency at Cornell University Medical Center at New York Presbyterian Hospital. After graduation, she continued at Cornell, where she taught and supervised medical students and residents in a faculty position. She served as Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine and attending OB/GYN.
She joined Lenox Hill Hospital as a private physician in 2004 and New York University Hospital in 2011. Outside of her private practice, she holds positions as a Vice Chair of the Lenox Hill Hospital Education Committee and Safety Control Officer in Lenox Hill Hospital’s Labor & Delivery unit.
She serves her local community as a member of the NJ Board of Health in Harrington Park and as a mentor for NYC Year Up, serving underprivileged high school students. She currently coaches 7th and 8th grade girls in basketball in her local community.

Dr. Rivera-Casamento was inducted into the Honor Medical Society in medical school after finishing second in her class.
